Scripture: “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13 (NIV)
Confidence is not the denial of difficulty; it is the conviction that God remains faithful in the middle of it. David had faced enemies, uncertainty, and seasons of waiting, yet he could say, “I remain confident.” His confidence was not in his circumstances, strength, or connections; it was in the goodness of God. Sometimes faith simply means holding on to what God has said when what you see does not yet agree with it.
There will be moments when the promise seems delayed and the evidence seems insufficient. But God’s silence is not His absence, and waiting is not abandonment. David expected to see God’s goodness “in the land of the living.” This is a declaration of expectation: I may not know when, I may not know how, but I know God will come through. Your confidence must be anchored in God’s character, not the condition of your circumstances.
Therefore, stand confident. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep moving forward. The story is not finished, and the goodness of God has not passed you by. What God has promised, He is faithful to fulfill. You will yet see His goodness in your life.
I Declare: I remain confident in the Lord. I will see His goodness in my life, my family, my work, and every area He has committed to me. I will not surrender my expectation.
