Scripture: “Then the ark rested on the mountains of Ararat.” Genesis 8:4 NKJV

Sometimes in life, like Noah we go through a season of relentless movement, uncertainty, and overwhelming waters. But out text text today says the ark eventually rested. The storm did not last forever. There came a moment when the vessel that had been carried by the waters finally found a place to settle. In the same way, there are seasons when you have been moving, fighting, adjusting, and simply trying to survive but God is bringing you into a place where your soul can settle and your feet can become established.

Rest does not mean the journey is completely over. Noah still had to wait for the waters to recede and eventually step out of the ark. But the resting of the ark was a significant sign: the season of being tossed about was changing. Sometimes God gives you rest before He gives you release. He settles you before He sends you forward. He establishes you before He expands you.

Therefore, don’t be afraid of the quiet season. You are not stuck; you may be settling. You are not forgotten; God may be establishing you. The same God who preserved you through the waters is able to bring you safely into your next season. Your storm has not cancelled your destination. You are coming to a place of rest.

I DECLARE: I am coming into a place of divine rest and stability. Every season of unnecessary turbulence is giving way to peace. God is establishing my feet, settling my heart, and preparing me for the next chapter. I will not be moved by fear or uncertainty; I trust the God who has carried me this far.
