Scripture: “But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue…” 2 Peter 1:5 NKJV

Spiritual growth is not automatic; it requires intentional participation. Peter says, “giving all diligence, add…” This means that even after faith has begun in us, there is still room for development. God has given us everything we need for godly living, but we must cooperate with His grace by developing our character, knowledge, discipline, endurance, and love. Salvation is a gift, but maturity requires growth.

Never become so comfortable with where you are that you stop becoming who God wants you to be. There is always another dimension of Christ to discover, another weakness to overcome, another virtue to develop, and another level of usefulness to embrace. Your current achievement is not the limit of your capacity. The fact that you have grown does not mean you have arrived. There is always room for growth.

Give yourself permission to learn, to be corrected, to change, and to become better. Do not compare your journey with someone else’s; focus on the work God is doing in you. What matters is that you keep adding, keep advancing, and keep becoming. Grace does not excuse stagnation; grace empowers transformation.

I Declare: I am growing in every area of my life. I will not be stagnant or complacent. I receive grace for discipline, wisdom, character, and spiritual maturity. Every day, I am adding to my faith and becoming more like Christ and more effective in God’s purpose for my life.
