Scripture:
“By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”John 15:8 NKJV
Friends, God did not choose us merely to exist and enjoy the benefits of redemption; He chose and empowered us to bear fruit. Jesus makes it clear that a fruitful life brings glory to the Father. Our gifts, opportunities, relationships, resources, and influence are not ends in themselves, they are channels through which God intends His life to produce something meaningful and long lasting through you. Fruitfulness is evidence that the life of Christ is working in us and flowing through us.
It is good to know however that fruit does not appear overnight. It grows through abiding, obedience, pruning, patience, and consistent dependence on Christ. Sometimes God removes things we have become comfortable with because He is preparing us to produce more. Do not despise the pruning process simply because it is uncomfortable. The pruning is not rejection; it is preparation for greater fruitfulness.
Your life is meant to leave evidence of God’s goodness wherever you go. Let your character bear fruit. Let your work bear fruit. Let your ministry bear fruit. Let your relationships bear fruit. Let your generosity, wisdom, leadership, and service produce results that outlive you. You were not chosen merely to be blessed; you were chosen to become a blessing. Your assignment is not just to grow; it is to become fruitful.
I DECLARE: I am chosen to bear fruit that glorifies God. My life will not be barren or wasted. As I abide in Christ, I receive grace to grow, multiply, and produce lasting results. My character, gifts, work, ministry, and influence will bear fruit in their appointed season.
